IMG_3432Veliki broj vas je nestrpljivo čekao ovaj članak, sudeći po porukama koje mi šaljete. I razumem vas, jer istina je da dugo nisam pisala na temu koja vas verovatno i najviše interesuje (čak i više od nail art-a), a u međuvremenu je dosta porastao broj čitalaca. Trenutno prolazim kroz tešku fazu oporavka zanoktica, mada se što se tiče njihove nege ništa značajno nije promenilo, samo je nega učestalija. Bitna tema ovog članka biće žutilo noktiju i kako sam se, (konačno!) izborila sa tim.

The truth is that it was a long time ago since I talked to about the topic you’re probably most interested into (and even more then nail art), because in the meantime number of my readers increased a lot. Currently, I am going through a difficult phase of recovering my cuticle area, although nothing significant has changed, but the frequent of the care. The essential topic of this article will be yellow nails (yellowness) and how I was (finally!) dealt with it.

HIDRATACIJA ZANOKTICA i šta to koristim za negu zanoktica?

Pre nego što pređem na izbeljivanje noktiju, podelila bih sa vama par reči i korisnih saveta o hidrataciji zanoktica. Moj problem sa suvoćom zanoktica datira još od detinjstva. U jednom periodu puberteta (nakon bombardovanja 1999.) bila sam u bolnici, jer sam imala velikih problema generalno sa kožom ruku i lica, pa sam zanoktice lečila antibiotskim mastima (Hidrociklin i Hloramfenikol), jer su bile crvene i krvarile su pod upalom. Iz tog razloga sam vremenom naučila mnogo o nezi zanoktica i dan danas ne mogu da zamislim da prođe ni 12 sati, a da ne upotrebim ulje za hidrataciju. Pre izlaska iz stana, nakon pranja sudova, pre spavanja – to su sve situacije kojima prethodi/sledi stavljanje masne kreme na ruke i ulja na zanoktice. To je neizbežan ritual, naročito od kada blogujem.

Kupovna (brendirana) ulja za negu zanoktica mi uglavnom ne pomažu, već čista organska. Koristim svoj miks organskih ulja, a tri glavna sastojka tog miksa su: maslinovo, kokosovo i ricinusovo ulje. Ulje stavljam dva puta dnevno na zanoktice i ispod slobodne ivice (“free edge”) nokta. U torbi sa sobom redovno nosim kremu za ruke, a ukoliko je kojim slučajem zaboravim tu je uvek balzam za usne, koji mi može zameniti kremu na par sati. HYDRATION OF THE CUTICLES and what do I use for the cuticle care?

Before I move on to yellowness I would love to split with you a few words and useful tips about hydration of the cuticles. My problem with the cuticle dryness dates back to his childhood. During one period of puberty (after the NATO bombing 1999.) I was in the hospital, because I had big problems with the hands and face skin, so I was treating my cuticles with antibiotic ointments (such as chloramphenicol), because they were red and bleeding. For this reason, I now everything now about my cuticles care, and today I can not imagine even 12 hours without using oil for hydration. Before leaving the apartment, after the dishwash, before going to sleep – these are all situations which precedes/follows placing a cream on hand and oil on the cuticles. It is inevitable ritual, especially from the start of blogging.

Branded cuticle care oils do not work for me, just pure organic oils. I use my own mix of organic oils, and the three main components of this mix are: olive, coconut and castor oil. I put that oil mix twice daily on cuticles and under the free edge of my nails. Also, I always carry on with me hand cream in the bag, and if by chance I forget it, there is always a lip balm which can replace hand cream for a few hours. Moram podeliti sa vama i utiske napravi sama puteru za negu noktiju i zanoktica, koji mi je preporodio zanoktice pre dva meseca, i u tom periodu ste me najviše zapitkivale: kako imam tako lepo iznegovane zanoktice? Glavni sastojak je organski pčelinji vosak, koji vrši određenu funkciju “pečatiranja hidratacije”, tako da zanoktice ostaju dugo hidrirane, nežne su i meke na dodir, a vizuelno izgledaju fantastično. I must share with you the impressions of my DIY butter for the care of nails and cuticles, which revived my cuticles two months ago, and during that time you kept asking me the most: what do I use to have such a nicely cared cuticles? The main ingredient of this butter is organic beeswax which has a function of “stamping hydration”, so that the cuticles remain long time hydrated, soft and silk to the touch, which visually look fantastic. KAKO SAM IZBELILA SVOJE NOKTE?

Žutilo noktiju je, po mom skromnom mišljenju, težak (možda i najteži) problem, sa kojim sam se srećom uspešno (mada jedva) izborila pre par meseci otkrivši da mi obojena sredstva za negu noktiju boje nokte u žućkasto (poput Miss Sporty i Avon sredstava za negu). To je razlog zašto ta dva brenda više nećete viđati među mojim proizvodima za negu noktiju. Iz ličnog iskustva, iskreno vam savetujem da kao bazna sredstva koristite isključivo providna ili sredstva bele boje, nikako obojena!

Na moje neprijatno iznenađenje iz manikir rutine morala sam da izbacim i moj do skoro omiljeni uljani skidač laka, Dahlia (narandžasti, sa mirisom breskve), jer mi je, takođe, bojio nokte. Jedva sam ga prežalila, jer mi je, što se tiče delotvornosti bio apsolutno savršen. Ukoliko bi proizvođač prestao da boji ovaj uljani skidač, sigurna sam da bih ga ponovo kupovala. Trenutno testiram nove skidače lakova – Still “Pop Art”, a o njima u nekim narednim redovima.

Usput sam uočila da je soda (posebno u kombinaciji sa limunom) izuzetno dobra za izbeljivanje nokatne ploče. Da bi se vratila hidratacija noktima, neophodno ih je kasnije premazati nekim od hranljivih ulja poput maslinovog. Pomenute sastojke sam spojila i napravila pastu za izbeljivanje noktiju, koja se pokazala kao izuzetno delotvorna, a ukoliko ste propustili video u kojem vam pokazujem kako da tu pastu napravite, pogledajte (ovde).

HOW I GET RID OF YELLOWNESS?

Yellow nails, in my humble opinion, is the difficult (perhaps the most difficult) problem, from which I was fortunately successfully (but barely) defeated few months ago during discover that colored nail care products actually dyed my nail plates in yellow! (like Miss Sporty and Avon products for nail care). This is why these two brands will no longer be seeing among my products for nail care. From personal experience, I sincerely advise you to use only transparent or white products/ base coats, not colored/toned ones!

To my unpleasant surprise from manicure routine I had to throw my favorite until recently nail polish remover by serbian brand Dahlia (orange, with the smell of peaches), because it also painted my nails into yellow. I barely got over it, because, as far as effectiveness was absolutely perfect. If the manufacturer stop coloring this remover, I’m sure I would buy it again. Currently testing a new varnish removers – Still “Pop Art” (also serbian brand)…

On the way I noticed that baking soda (especially in combination with lemon) is very good for whitening the nail plate. In order to restore hydration of the nails, you need to later paint over some of nutritious oils, such as olive oil. The above-mentioned ingredients I recently blended and made ​​paste for nails whitening, which proved to be extremely effective, and if you missed a video in which I show you how to make that paste, see (here).

  • Ništa komplikovano, a efektno i korisno. Mislim da je najbitnije pronaći neku svoju kombinaciju proizvoda, džaba njih sto ako ni jedan nije odgovarajući. Podržavam ideju mešanja čistih ulja. 🙂
    Inače, rado bih probala da napravim tvoj čuveni puter ali ne mogu nigde da nađem vosak. :/

     
  • Ja trenutno koristim ulje za kožu oko noktiju od Depend-a i baš mi je ok. Međutim, kako ide zima planiram da malo pojačam negu, ukoliko pronađem sve sastojke, baš ću isprobati tvoj puter 🙂

     
  • Soda bikarbona je zakon za ibzeljivanje. Moracu je isprobati u kombinaciji sa limunom. 😉
